Hypopressive Breathing
Do you experienced incontinence, prolapse, or bloating caused by abdominal pressure? Do you lack core strength or engagement?
Hypopressives can help! It is a specialized breathing technique that combines poses with breath control to reduce intra-abdominal pressure and activate the deep core and pelvic floor muscles. It is unlike other “abdominal exercises” as it includes the nervous system and helps to create a reflexive response from the muscles instead of simply performing exercises.
Benefits of Hypopressives include:
Core muscle activation and tightening of the abdominal fascia
Reduction of intra-abdominal pressure
Spinal decompression
Relaxation/ calming effects
Increased blood and lymph flow
Restores proper respiratory patterns
